Earlier this week I finally ordered the components I need to upgrade the connection from the DirecTV DVR to the bedroom television. In a previous post I described how I was sending the signal in SD using a set of component cables, an RF modulator, and coax.

I purchased a set of in-wall HDMI to Cat5e adapters from Monoprice along with a powered HDMI switch (one input to two outputs). They’re scheduled to arrive early next week.
