Downloadsquad had a posting about opensourcemac.org, a nice site that lists some of the most popular and useful open source applications for OS X. I’m already familiar with most of the applications and it is a good selection. One that I wasn’t familar with is Electric Sheep. It’s a screen saver that generates stunning fractal based animations. It coordinates with many other client computers to create a computer “dream”. The animations go well with the Cloud Original Soundtrack.

Starting today I am experimenting with using Nvu for my personal/home Web design projects.

I’m Mike

Welcome to my blog, which I have maintained for several years, off and on, to share things that I’ve learned from numerous projects and various problem solving escapades. This is my way of giving something back to the online communities that have helped me learn more about a wide variety of topics.
