The bottom back-light in my Apple display has died. The reduced brightness in the bottom area is something I can deal with for now but the blinking power light is very annoying. Unfortunately, there isn’t much I can do about it right now and the screen is lit well enough to continue using. I’ll looking into a do-it-yourself repair option if it’s not covered under a warranty.
